Summary

I want to be a teacher because I feel it is what I am meant to be. I understand that teaching will not make me a billionaire, but there is no greater feeling than explaining a subject to another person and seeing the look on their face when it makes sense to them. As a teacher, I seek to engage students in the content by applying it to their everyday lives. I strive to provide strategies and support that will mold students into active learners who question and seek answers to the world around them.

I am inspired to teach because I believe I can make a difference. I feel I will never be done learning and can learn from every experience. Through continuing education and life long learning, I believe I will use these resources to become a better educator. I will also contribute my time and dedicated work ethic to any school I am a part of.
