Supermarket Assistant, Counters

Sainsbury's
This position has helped me to develop my team leader, customer service, and interpersonal skills whilst acquiring other practical skills specific to the role. I have received training in health and safety, hygiene standards, serving and food perpetration on the Delicatessen and the Pizza counters (shutdown, open and serving). I am also very proud of the fact that Sainsbury's elected OYAP Trust as their annual charity of the year 2014 after I initiated contact between Sainsbury's and OYAP Trust in 2013. As part of this relationship Sainsbury’s have helped to raise money and provided funding for OYAP Trust, and also donated decorations to The Studio.

Assistant Arts Workshop Facilitator

Prop-making Internship

Creation Workshops Ltd
Creation workshop are seen as innovators within the industry producing work for many varied commercial applications from mould-making, prop manufacture, sculpture-hero prosthetics, supplying stunt and special effects departments, through to painting and finishing. Working alongside their highly skilled molding and casting team I helped to create beanstalks for a props commission. This work experience taught me how to work within several highly skilled teams operating at a fast pace and with accuracy in a new, and challenging workshop environment (not all the ‘usual’ equipment was available due to a recent relocation).

During this time I worked long, flexible hours in this fast-paced, demanding industry on a live project helping with some of the animation, putting bits together and placing them on the model.
