With a modeling career spanning more than a decade, Kirsten Dekanchuk is engaged with business partner Caitlin Nelms in launching the couture bikini design enterprise Bare All Swimwear. The New York City firm features flirty, sexy, and functional styles that are comfortable and offer an exceptional fit. With her first collection, “I Dream of Paradise,” Kirsten Dekanchuk has created a line of suits that can be confidently worn at pool parties in upscale urban destinations such as Miami and Las Vegas, as well as in everyday beach environments. Kirsten Dekanchuk completed her studies in Accessories Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, part of the State University of New York. Considered one of the top five fashion colleges worldwide, the campus is located centrally in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood on West 27th Street. Kirsten Dekanchuk launched Bare All Swimwear in April 2012 and is now setting up a dedicated page and website for the firm. A hands-on designer and owner, as well as the President of the company, Kirsten Dekanchuk makes frequent trips to Manhattan’s famed Fashion District. She is constantly on the lookout for innovative materials and trimmings and stays closely attuned to the latest couture trends. The budding entrepreneur and fashion talent is now focused on creating a “look book” that will highlight the current collection and feature new swimwear as it is introduced. These promotional materials will be sent to key fashion commentators in the online sphere, as well as to fashion retailers and buyers. Kirsten Dekanchuk is an avid traveler and enjoys competitive horseback riding in her free time.
