Project Management

  • Project manageron the "ACT 335 Project." This project is a college-wide project to update all ACT 335s to a five-year review schedule. I am responsible for three other colleagues. I have developed the process map for this project to be completed through Sharepoint and coordinate daily with my colleagues and IT to ensure timelines are completed.
  • Project Coordinatorfor Dual Enrollment project. I am in charge of creating the organizational workflow chart for Dual Enrollment. 
  • Coordinator for "Closing the Distance with  e-Learning." A yearly day of workshops hosted for faculty on the latest trends in distance education and information technology. 
  • Project Coordinator for the Catalyst 360 project. Oversee the implementation of the individualized certificate and degree program created specifically for the Catalyst 360 company.
  • Community Day Coordinator for Academic Affairs. I was responsible for ensuring faculty were assigned for workshops, assisted with the scheduling of events, event set-up, and participation during the event. 

Instructional Design

  • Collaborated with the Coordinator for the Center for Teaching and Learning to update the curriculum for the online faculty training course.
  • Co-taught the online faculty training course.
  • Work with faculty in the training course to develop their online course to meet Quality Matters standards.
  • Provide ongoing course maintenance
  • Provide training on current and new technologies.

e-Learning Marketing

  • Created an e-Learning marketing video using Garage Band and Keynote.
  • Developed the FAQs content for the college website.
  • Developed the new e-Learning online readiness quiz.
  • Collaborated with the student success center to have student success workshops recorded and made available online.
  • Coordinated and facilitated the creation of a generic e-Learning online orientation through Elluminate for faculty and students.

e-Learning Presentations

  • Educate students on e-Learning by presenting at student information sessions, individual classrooms, Open Houses, and New Student Orientation.
  • Offer live chats through the Admissions Office answering questions about e-Learning.
  • Assist faculty and students through one-on-one sessions on Blackboard and online tools for their success. 
  • Facilitated the use of Instant Messaging on the e-Learning webpage to provide exceptional, live customer service to current students, faculty, administration, and staff.
  • Disseminate e-Learning voice shots and target emails to all online students throughout the academic year.
