  • Led a team of 8 data scientists and engineers to build internal tools for Verizon Network Planning that utilized computer vision and other ML capabilities that saved the company $50m annually. 
  • Expanded data science influence to other products within Verizon Location Technology that needed to rebuild features in a more efficient way, and needed ML and other data science capabilities to do so.
  • Launched Geographic Intelligence product, which centralized the data science team's capabilities into one singular product, which delivered extreme location accuracy coupled with model outputs, all available via delivery API to internal Verizon businesses.

  • Collaborated with data providers (i.e. Twitter, Tumblr, Tencent) to bring their data into Oracle's platform.

  • Spectrum Guide was a multi-million dollar project to modernize Spectrum's set-top-box application, which had @ 7m users. I was part of the team that shipped this product to a beta user group of 200,000 users in St. Louis and Reno footprints.
  • Spearheaded the front-end product vision and roadmap for Spectrum Guide and acted as product owner by running scrum ceremonies.
  • Collaborated with UX, design, engineering, and QA teams to document complete functional requirements for features such as DVR.
  • Broke down requirements into actionable tasks and user stories for engineering teams; communicated progress to senior execs.

I started a service project as a graduate student in Argentina with the goal of bringing computer access to rural students in the Patagonian province of Rio Negro. Project Patagonia built 16 computer labs in rural boarding schools, most of which had only recently obtained electricity.
