Organizational Leadership

Served as the primary architect of an emerging company’s business plan and coordinated efforts to raise investment capital through the issuing of a Private Placement Memorandum. Analyzed operations and presented a range of recommendations for strengthening the organization and increasing profitability.

Managed the curriculum development segment of the training organization for a technology company involved in the hospitality industry. Developed a comprehensive vision and strategy for delivering learning to both internal and external audiences through a blended delivery model involving traditional instructor-led training together with e-Learning.

Co-founder and CEO of an IT consulting firm in upstate NY. Developed company from an initial 2 employees to a regionally recognized enterprise with 11 employees and annual revenues in excess of $1.2M. Served as project manager for various curriculum development initiatives aimed at providing end-user training for software/hardware solutions for quick and casual service restaurants.

In support of a “brand audit”, played a key role in helping to develop a brand identity for a well-established printing firm based on a team approach to determining core values and future direction.

Served as project manager responsible for developing training curriculum and providing “train-the-trainer” instruction for Corning Incorporated’s eProcurement project.

Provided training to Corning Incorporated’s S&T Transaction Excellence and Shared Services project team in the area of parallel and lateral thinking techniques. Facilitated team’s use of the techniques in pursuit of out-of-the-box solutions leading to initiatives with savings potential in excess of $3M annually.

Served as a team facilitator to Corning Incorporated in pursuit of “lessons learned” from their initial Innovation initiative. Provided formal report of findings to project sponsor.
