Record, edit and mix records. Responsible for the day to day operations of the recording studio including; booking, maintenance, project management, running sessions and archiving. Assist in production of songs and projects. Train and oversee interns and new engineers. Ensure that studio equipment is up to date and to industry standard to maintain efficiency of workflow. Remain on top of current audio and studio trends, techniques and technology to continually advance the business, enhance the brand and provide customers with the highest quality production. Market and increase overall business though promotion, advertising, and satisfied customer referrals.
Responsible for the setup and load out of audio equipment for commercial shoots, lectures and corporate events. Serve as communication facilitator between the various elements involved in production on the set. Perform all tasks, on and off set, as required by director/producer. Ensure that producers have the necessary materials prior to editing audio and video sessions or shoots. Prevent any unauthorized elements on the set or any interference with the shooting process.
Work with audio, visual and technical equipment in live-broadcast and recorded situations in green screen studio. Set up lighting. Assist with script writing and show production. Responsible for the maintenance of audio, video and computer hardware including audio mixing consoles, nonlinear editing systems, video consoles, recording equipment, and video cameras.
Recorded, edited and mixed albums for a wide range of artists of different genres including hip -hop, pop, rhythm and blues, instrumental, and poetry. Handled employee scheduling, engineer training, equipment management and troubleshooting. Ensured the smooth functioning of day to day studio activities. Facilitated the implementation of marketing, promotion and advertising strategies successfully bringing in steady clientele and increasing studio revenue resulting in expansion.
Engineered both FOH and monitors for live bands and corporate events. Responsible for setup and general maintenance of monitors, microphones, and other outboard gear. Evaluated and resolved audio and signal flow problems and equipment failures.
Responsible for the execution of on-air transmissions and technical quality of outgoing programming, lighting, insert studio satellite and tape feeds, troubleshooting and maintenance. Prepared all audio needs for talent. Operated video camera and teleprompter.
Studied audio engineering and music production in addition to majoring in Percussion. In both the classroom and studio settings, learned the fundamentals of audio including but not limited to the operation of professional recording equipment and various production techniques and software while applying this knowledge to numerous projects. I also furthered my classical training in Percussion as well as honed ear training and music theory skills.
Technology and Liberal Arts Major at one of New York City's three specialized high schools. Sharpened musicianship by participating in Concert, Jazz, New York All-City Marching as well as a community marching band.

Edit audio for Gatewave , an around-the-clock internet/ radio service for listeners who are blind, visually impaired or reading disabled. The publications include the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and other daily newspapers as well as a host of magazines and books. Responsible for eliminating errors, removal of extraneous and distracting noises, modifying the pacing of the narration, adding musical transitions and ensuring performance lasts for a specific duration.
