Federal Government General Contractor, performed projects located in the Continental U.S. and also offered support to other Contractors who lacked the experience of performing Government Contracts. I developed, prepared and implemented the processes that allowed Reitmeyer & Associates along with other Contractors to perform over $15 million in Federal Contracts each year with a very limited staff (usually 5 or less employees) which I managed. At the same time I was accounting for all of the owner’s personal finances and travel as well as appointments for all personnel.• Controller responsibilities included Bank Reconciliations, AP, AR, Payroll, Cash Flow, Government Progress Payments, creation and payment of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders and all other bookkeeping related matters. Also WAWF billing, ARRA reporting and preparation of the information needed for CCR and ORCA registrations for owners review. Filed the incorporation paperwork for many of these companies.• Office Manager, responsibilities included Supervision and Office Management. Monitored the staff that performed Contract Administration, Estimating. Co-ordinate with field personnel to properly administer the Government contracts for all Corporations. I personally performed Contract Administration and Bid Department duties when we did not have the staff and have hired and trained personnel when required.Reitmeyer & Associates is now concentrating on nationwide workshops to teach other Contractors the ins and outs of Federal Government Contracting.
