I have been running Bradel Images since 1995 and I primarily photograph weddings, portraits and commercial assignments. I am also available for editorial assignments. My commercial assignments have ranged from taking photographs of a business and it's employees for their website, to real estate and architectural photographs for print.
Photographing different types of sporting events around Washington and Oregon. Sports photographed included baseball, football, swimming, soccer and golf at all different age and skill levels. Job included photographing the events and uploading the photos to the company server so they could be printed and made ready for sale. At times I would also run the booth and sell the images I had taken from the event.
I photographed assignments for the news and advertising sides of the paper. On the news side I would cover anything from breaking news to features, along with stories that I proposed. The ad side was more commercial oriented with photos ranging from luxury homes and cars, to bags of dog food. Both types of photography had their own unique challenges, but both required quick and creative thinking to get the best results under daily deadline pressure.
I would photograph typical newspaper assignments such as news, features and sports, but it also included photographing nature and wildlife. My other duties were occasional reporting and ad sales.
