The main responsibility of a hotel front desk clerk is to check guests in and out. They verify guests’ registration information and take any further information required, such as identification and period of stay and take cash or process credit cards. Once they have gone through all these procedures, they hand the room key to the guests and guide them to their rooms. When a guest is about to check out, a front desk clerk will ensure that all dues are clear and the key is handed over. • Greet guests and patrons as they arrive. Ask if guests have a prior booking. Manage the registration process. Ask for identification and ensure that the provided credentials are accurate. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately. Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls,manage accurate accounting of all rooms. Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person, answer queries regarding the hotel’s services, charges, dining facilities, sports facilities and travel directions. Refer guests to appropriate departments to resolve complaints or provide suggestions C Compute bills and take payments,Contact housekeeping and maintenance departments when a problem is reported. Explain appropriate use of keys and ensure that guests are satisfied with the rooms allotted to them. Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift.

My personal interests are spending all my spare time with my daughter who is now 13 and a son who is 17 years old. I also volunteer with the ADVA organization . I have had experiences of abuse in a previous relation ship in my past and I want to help change the path of the woman who are stuck in this kinds of situations and to give them the help they need to feel safe to trust and get out of their situations.  And to show them that there is hope and they have the strength to stand on their own two feet and become everything that their abusers tell them they can be independant and do anything they put their minds to.  I have a wonderful resilient daughter who is also learning these skills to pass on to her friends or girls who need some one to help them when they need some one to talk to she is very wise for 16  I am very proud of her and also My son is 21 and is active duty Navy I am very proud of him . I try to be the best parent to my children and a role model that  I can be so they can handle any issues and life in general that come their way, and be there for them if things may become to tough to handle alone .

I also enjoy cooking with my family and I like spending time outdoors and enjoy going to concerts, plays and movies.  I like to draw and looking at art and museums reading and talking long walks daily and riding my bike and playing with my black kitten named Lucky who I adopted, after finding him along the road after being hit by a car at 2 months old .
