Plante holds licenses to practice law in Massachusetts, Maine, and New York. Kevin M. Plante earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and his Masters of Studies in Law from Vermont Law School where he graduated magna cum laude. While attending Syracuse, Plante was the Editor of the Syracuse Law Review and was elected to Moot Court and several trial teams, including the National Trial Team, the National Appellate Team, and the National Environmental Appellate Team. His performance was recognized by being awarded the Best Overall Advocate Award. Kevin M. Plante studied Business and Biology at Skidmore College, obtaining a Bachelor of Science with several honors and distinctions. Upon graduation from Syracuse Law in 1995, Kevin M. Plante accepted an offer from the New York City offices of international law firm White & Case LLP. As an associate in the firm’s litigation department, he handled environmental and general litigation cases, as well as regulatory and corporate compliance matters. During his tenure with White & Case LLP, he wrote articles published by the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar, and the New York Law Journal. After five years at White & Case, he served as an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts.
