Summary

I recently completed a two year project as Lead QA Analyst testing and assisting in the implementation of fixed-income instruments onto the Charles River Development order management system and Eagle Star / Pace accounting engine and data warehouse for TIAA-CREF.

In my Lead QA role, I assisted in the development of a Win Runner automation script which enabled us to submit spreadsheet-based fixed income test trades for thirty fixed-income security types into the CRD application (two trades per minute) and to document the transaction processing results. After profiling the instruments held in the portfolios coming onto the new platform, I coordinated the integration and user-acceptance testing cycles involving forty internal and external stakeholder areas

In addition to my testing lead role at TIAA-CREF, I helped to define the overall CRD/Eagle fixed income portfolio migration testing strategy, and helped to build a catalog of Asset Management Department regression test scenarios.I was responsible for collecting and submitting the required SDLC and SOX artifacts including business and IT sign-offs prior to the go-live date of each conversion phase.

In addition to testing Charles River transaction processing and its downstream impact on other applications, I also tested in the following areas at TIAA-CREF:

  • Internal MQ messaging of CRD trades being sent to Eagle PACE, and externally for TBA mortgage-backed securities being transmitted to Fixed Income Clearing Corp. (FICC).
  • Internally developed corporate actions processing application
  • Internally developed portfolio manager biographical reporting application used for prospectus filings.

Prior to my most recent assignment, I implemented a Liquidity Risk reporting application at Societe Generale in accordance with Basel II Accord guidelines using programming resources in Bangalore. India (1 year) , and also implemented a web-based performance reporting application (Investment Scorecard) in the Advisory Services, Broker Dealer and Prime Broker business units at Bear Stearns & Co.

I am searching for a full-time or long-term consulting position where I can grow within the organization and apply my interpersonal, financial and system development skills.
