- Functional lead role on three year engagement to replace Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's revenue management and reservations software with a more flexible system atop a business rules engine from IBM. The fine-tuned pricing software generates personalized discounts enhancing the shopping experience and leading to increased profitability by targeting customers with high on-board spending.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the cruise line areas of revenue management, internal reservations, third party distribution, sales reporting and tracking, accounting, and guest documentation. Managed a team of 4 business analysts, 13 person QA team, and 24 developers in a mixed onsite/offshore model in India.
- Worked with the Royal Caribbean Database Architects and the Data Warehouse teams to validate business scenarios and ensure the new relational database supports the solution's full functionality.
- Managed user experience and interface design at offshore delivery center in Hyderabad, India for FedEx Express' Route Optimization and Decision Support (ROADS) tool. The complex technology streamlines everything for FedEx Express operations, from optimizing delivery routes, creating “what-if” scenarios to alter delivery zones in weather disruptions, and advises package placement on the vehicle.
