Costume Design

I had the opportunity to create the costuming for my Dancescape 2013 piece, "Representation". I am very skilled at sketching and creating designs. I am also skilled at costume construction and fitting.

Dance

I have been dancing for the past 17 years. I have studied Ballet for 17 years, Tap for 15 years, Modern for 3 years and Jazz for 1 year. I am experienced in pointe work as well.

Drawing

I am skilled in both abstract and realistic drawing. I am profficient in multiple mediums including charcoal, conte crayon, pencil, and ink. I am skilled using mixed mediums and creating pieces of all different sizes.

Painter

I am proficient in both studio painting and well as painting in room design. I recently created my own rendition of a Degas as part of an interior design. I am also skilled in abstract painting, specifically to music. I am talented at creating still lifes as well. I specialize in acrylic as my medium.

Choreographer

In 2012 I Co-choreographed a piece for the Winona State University Senior Dance Show. I also recently choreographed a piece, title "Representation", for the Winona State University 2013 Dancescape. I have also had experience choreographing for finals in the Modern I,II,III,IV and Ballet I,II, and III classes.

Student Worker

Minnesota Zoo

I am a student worker at Guest Services at the MN Zoo. I am primarily at the main guest service desk where I sell and process memberships, listen to customer complaints, answer phone calls, take messages, look up memberships, provide information and directions around and about the surrounding area to guests, and any other task at hand involving zoo guests. I also work greeting shifts. I also have experience with deskwork such as voiding transaction, and handling change. I am responsible for counting money for change bags and for the next day as well as cleaning things such as strollers. I cashier and sell daily zoo admission and IMAX movie tickets. I use a radio while at work as well.

Personal Care Assistant

I am currently a Personal care assistant to two young boys with special needs. One has Cerebral Palsy and both have Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, creating different challenges for both of them. Some of my responsibilities include, feeding, bathing, dressing, laundry, cooking, house cleaning, assisting with transport to and from school, toiletting, field trips and exercise. I am also responsible for helping with their five siblings schedules and assisting the children in whatever they made need.
