  • In process clean room Inspections of prepreg carbon and graphite composite cutting, kitting, laser and tool guided layup, cobond, and cure for all 3 variants of the Lockheed/Avorp F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion Helicopter aerospace defense subcontracts. Responsible for verification of key characteristics as well as internal, customer, and regulatory specifications. I document nonconforming and work closely with MRB to determine root cause, expedite disposition, and inspect rework or repair. Experienced conducting full and delta AS9102 FAI inspection and documentation using Discus software and precision measurement tools. I perform NADCAP/AS9100/QMS continuous improvement audits on my shift. Cross trained on incoming material RQC, machining Romer arm inspection, and NDI quality assurance.

QA II is the final verification before products and materials are released into production or commerce. The position is extremely detail oriented and includes trouble shooting for six packaging lines and the manufacturing department. I am currently employed on the graveyard shift with little to no supervision aside from an emergency call number. Passed in depth FDA/DEA background check required for employment in the manufacture of controlled substances. Responsible for the review and release of controlled and non-controlled raw materials including review of vendor and in house testing and appropriate transactions within the electronic inventory system. Complete Quality engineering of new programs and maintenance of existing SOP's and documents within a controlled document repository. Site notification and thorough written investigation of procedural deviations that are reviewed by corporate and FDA auditors. Final review of Master Batch Records, labeling materials, bulk drug blends before tablet compression and final packaging. Conducted nightly audits for SOP adherence and good documentation practices for product in process on the production lines.

Consumer Safety Inspector

Salt Lake City Consumer Safety Inspector Consumer Safety Inspectors with the USDA Food Safety Inspection Service are tasked with ensuring compliance with both Federally regulated and plant instituted food safety and sanitation programs in meat and poultry producing establishments. It is generally on a 5 to 6 production plants inspected daily on a patrol that rotates into new plants every six months. This requires an in depth awareness of any and all food safety related issues within a given segment of the industry as well as plant specific issues. While in this position, I passed extensive background checks and held level 2 Homeland Security clearances. Inspect and enforce federal food safety regulations in food production industry on a rotating patrol assignment. HACCP. SSOP. Part 9 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Some of my plants shared jurisdiction with FDA or the State so I am well versed in those regulations as well. Conduct daily organoleptic inspections of a wide range of food production equipment. Enforce sanitation corrective measures when necessary. Review and evaluate the efficacy of food safety programs including but not limited to HACCP, sanitation, GMP's, pest control, prerequisite programs, vendor agreements, consumer returns or complaints, recalls, and bioterrorism security, etc. Interpret and communicate emerging regulation to the industry, third party sanitation crews, the plant owner, corporate lawyers, and/or the food safety manager. Steer plants and industry toward food safety goals while being outside the inspected company's organizational structure. Document findings fairly and accurately on comprehensive Noncompliance Reports on the USDA database. Communicate expectations to the plant.
