The focus on the project with a major northeastern paper manufacturer was multi-layered. The client requested a program to reduce costs and properly manage the maintenance staff. Developed appropriate controls for the client, trained the first line Supervisors in short-interval control, and found opportunities to contain costs. The contract was partially curtailed, and to-date deliverables were provided.

Sub-contracted to a major consulting company to work as a Project Manager focused on gathering business requirements for the processes of developing and managing products (from inception to sales ready). Created a project plan, maintained all records, and uploaded completed documentation to a central file repository, facilitated meetings, tracked progress, and completed weekly status reports. Client was shifting from their older legacy system to the Facets system (a TriZetto owned application). Managed one of nine teams charged to facilitate this move. Team included a business architect, a Facets subject matter expert, an IT subject matter expert, a configuration subject matter expert, and a Business Analyst. Charter was to develop the draft architecture for the TriZetto product (Facets) and produce a draft business requirements document.
Sub-contracted to a major consulting company to assist in a business process improvement program for an industry leader in the legal ebilling and matter management industry. This project required the mapping all implementation processes, organizational reporting processes, and support communication processes. Deliverables included creating 10 detailed cross-functional process maps, generating 149 process improvement suggestions, and designing metrics for all departments. Additionally, to prepare the future state of this company's business, completed RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) matrices for all major processes.
Sub-contracted to provide Business Project Manager services to a major national health care insurance client in their newly launched Medicare Prescription Drug program. The project's mission was to improve the working processes between the business teams and the Information Technology team. Responsibility was to act as the liaison between the business users and IT teams who were tasked with collecting and transforming business requirements into proper documentation for the IT development team and coordinating monthly releases to upgrade, repair, and enhance the IT System.

The work completed impacted operations by ensuring the right parts were available, at the right time, in the right quantity, and staged for operations. Also designed metrics for the entire supply chain operation, and facilitated the annual inventory of the stockroom.

Also conducted training for agents, supervisors, and managers on improved business practices. In addition, formulated process improvements for clients to improve their financial practices in A/P, A/R, and General Ledger, as well as process mapping all financial processes, and solving for all Sarbanes-Oxley process identified risks. Successfully completed an assignment to an offshore contract to develop best practices to improve throughput operations for a nickel mining company.
