Led the IT functions for this up-scale, privately owned supermarket chain in Southeastern Michigan with 12 locations and 2 corporate offices that produced $120M in annual sales.Managed computer hardware, software, networking, telecommunications, budgeting, and IT strategy.Aligned the company’s IT organization and capacity to meet the needs of organizational expansion; reported directly to the company President and Chief Executive Officer. While Systems Analyst, performed design, development, and support functions for retail applications including version 1.0 of the company’s custom cash register system.

¾;Was the lead developer for one of the first Windows-based POS applications in the US (still used to this day); completed the project on time (five months) and under budget.Led the design and development of an in-store accounting system that supported the POS system and provided real-time access to sales information.
