He also assists clients at Proskauer Rose with a unique understanding of sophisticated technology, cultivated during his days as an undergraduate and, later, doctoral student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Following receipt of his Ph.D. from MIT in 1979, Kenneth Rubenstein soon became a Registered Patent Agent and enrolled at New York Law School, where he graduated cum laude. After earning his J.D., Kenneth Rubenstein gained admission to the New York State Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Prior to accepting a position with Proskauer Rose, Kenneth Rubenstein served on the legal team at Bell Laboratories (now Bell Labs, a part of Alcatel-Lucent), handling matters related to patent litigation, procurement, licensing, and more. Kenneth Rubenstein resides in the greater New York area and operates out of Proskauer Rose's offices in the city.
