I have a broad background across all facets of online work. The breadth of my skills includes leveraging social networks, viral marketing and writing/blogging. I have managed web sites, including a blog for which I served as managing editor and which enjoyed 2 million page views monthly. My experience includes working for one of the largest global media brands in the world: AOL. During my tenure there, I drove the editorial direction for a number of niche demographics such as gay and lesbian, African-American, and people of faith. My work there included building and nurturing online communities and managing remote employees. In all of the areas in which I worked, engaging users with interactive tools played a key part. Prior to becoming a professional Internet addict, I worked in more traditional public affairs fields and as a development professional in non-profits.
