My responsibilities include  checking I.D.s to enter facilities, renting out equipment, cleaning the facilities, answering general questions about memberships as well as the school. I am often the first face many see when they walk into the Recreation Center.

I took a diversity of challenging courses all throughout history high school. Some includes AP Spanish, AP United States History, AP Psychology, AP English 11, AP World History, AP Calculus, Physics CP, and Biology CP. I was also actively involved in Concert Choir, the school IPad initiative STAP, Key Club, NHS, Teen Leadership Corp, Spanish Club, and Tri-M all in which I held leadership positions that aided me in gaining useful and essential skills for my future.

Volunteering in Altoona, PA

I volunteered over the summer of 2014 for about 18 hours one week, fixing up a rehabilitation house in Altoona, PA. Also, I helped lead worship and teach small group of kindergarten through 2nd graders at a Bible School. I led a small group of elementary kids for a week at Midland Super Week in 2011. And lastly, I led a small group for two hours once a week during my freshman and sophmore year at the fifth and sixth grade ministry at my church. 

Volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters

I recently became a big sister to a local Cleveland youth. I spend every other Friday with her for about two hours after school. We talk about issues in school or home, make goals to achieve, and spend time together having fun. So far, the experience has been very rewarding. I hope to make a difference in her life as we continue.
