As an IT consultant I work in partnership with my clients, advising them how to use information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome existing IT problems. I work to improve the structure and efficiency of IT systems. Also I provide strategic guidance to my clients with regard to technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT. Also in terms of my client’s IT demand I provide guidance during selection and procurement as well as providing highly expert technical assistance, and user training and feedback. My responsibilities as Consultant & Freelance Developer as follows; - Meet with clients to determine requirements, planning timescales and the resources needed, clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business, designing and installing IT systems accordingly, - Travelling to customer sites and liaising with staff at all levels of a client organisation, - Defining software, hardware and network requirements, purchasing systems where appropriate, - Analyzing IT requirements within companies and giving independent and objective advice on the use of IT, - Developing agreed solutions and implementing systems, presenting solutions in written or oral reports, - Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports to customers, organising training for user(s),

Monitor and remove virus, spyware, and other non-authorized software - Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. - Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary. - Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. - Research and recommend innovative and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.

Additionally I am continously in a dialog with senior development staff and I build bridge to the internal business stakeholders to make sure projects are well scoped and executed.
