I am an advocate for autism awareness and enjoy supporting this cause online and in the community.

I enjoy challenging work and am looking for a career that will keep me on my toes!

 

Summary

I have spent the last eight years climbing the corporate ladder in the construction industry and a recent

layoff has given me the opportunity to seek a line of work that is fulfilling for myself, my community, and

others. I have excellent professional and personal references available and I am excited for a new

opportunity!

I am looking for a career which will utilize my strengths such as attention to detail, time management, self-motivation, dedication, professionalism and reliability as well as provide me with an opportunity to learn and grow with the company.

I am also a Florida Notary with my commission expiring in December of 2013.

Armwood High School

I achieved Sophomore Standing during high school and briefly attended USF. I completed several

college level and Advanced Placement classes and received many scholarships and accolades,

including the Florida Key Scholar, Bright Futures, and Young Women of Promise.

I was a member of the National Honor Society and completed over 200 hours of community service,

graduating with a weighted GPA of well over 4.0.

Contract Coordinator | Dir. of Ambassador Programs

As the Contract Coordinator and Director of Ambassador Programs for Gallo Building Services, a

Tampa-based construction company operating statewide, my primary functions were as follows:

As Contract Coordinator, some of my primary functions were:

  • Vendor Management (qualifying subcontractors and maintaining their records in several systems)
  • Audit Management
  • Insurance Management
  • Contract Management
  • Reviewing and tracking all bids sent to potential clients
  • Website Creation and Administration
  • Marketing material creation

I worked directly under the VP of Operations and was solely responsibly for my department.

Additionally, I prepared reports for our President|CEO with whom I worked closely.

As Director of Ambassador Programs:

  • I served as our representative for the Tampa Chamber of Commerce. In this role I prepared our

Small Business of the Year Documents when we were nominated in 2009.

  • I organized toy and food drives with Metropolitan Ministries.
  • I organized Gallo's involvement in the 2011 Gasparilla Distance Classic which raises money for

youth and running organizations.

2003 - 2007

Centex Homes

I began my career with Centex Homes at their sister company in the same building, Commerce

Title.

At Commerce Title I was hired as Post-Closer and was quickly promoted to Title Closer. (2003 -

2005)

As a Title Closer my responsibilities included:

  • Preparing HUD documents
  • Meeting with homeowners to close their home and review all legal documents
  • Post Close files for proper archiving and auditing
  • Working closely with the homebuilder, Centex Homes, to coordinate the closing.

This portion of the company was downsized and I was given the opportunity to move to Centex

Homes and act as an Account Manager in the Accounting Department. (2005 - 2006)

As an Account Manager my responsibilities included:

  • Financial analysis and reporting of corporate finances
  • Managing over 100 vendors and their payments
  • Reconciling Statements

Eventually this department was downsized as well and I was restructured into the Purchasing

Department. (2006-2007)

As a Purchasing Admin |Contract Coordinator my responsibilities included:

  • Creating Contracts
  • Managing Vendors
  • Managing Compliancy/Insurance
  • Coordinating bids
  • Serving as a department liaison to coordinate the building process.
