For over 30 years, Keith W. Pillich has worked for Vlado Engineering in occupational and environmental safety, saving numerous lives by implementing high operational standards for many client organizations. Known as Vlado Properties, LLC, when he started with the company in 1980, Keith W. Pillich has served as the President of Environmental Health & Safety while contributing to a large spectrum of responsibilities aimed at improving workplace conditions around the world.
As an Environmental Inspector, Keith W. Pillich is licensed by the New York State Department of Labor to perform various duties including instruction and supervision. Moreover, Pillich is licensed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), a division of the United States Department of Labor that provides a uniform standard for workplace safety across the country. In order to maintain licensure with OSHA, Keith W. Pillich constantly engages in continuing education on the latest technology and most innovative procedures intended to protect the well-being of the workforce while affording companies the opportunity to succeed.
Keith W. Pillich has dedicated much of his career to the construction and oil and gas industries. As a Contract Safety Consultant, Pillich continues to help companies in the areas of industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety, and education and awareness. Keith W. Pillich has worked around the world, including extensive time in the Middle East, and he contracts with large companies such as AECOM, a multi-faceted global enterprise that plays a significant role in the oil and gas industry.
While contracting with the U.S. Army in 2009 and 2010, Keith W. Pillich assisted the military with many responsibilities vital to the safety of military personnel, including asbestos, lead, and mold cleanup and radiation protection. The Army recognized Pillich for providing exceptional civilian services by awarding him the Distinguished Service Medal.
As a member of the occupational safety community, Keith W. Pillich maintains memberships with many important professional organizations that contribute to the success of the industry, including the American Society of Safety Engineers and the American Industrial Hygiene Association. Keith W. Pillich is also licensed by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, an internationally recognized organization of industry peers that maintains the highest standards of safety, health, and environment certifications. Keith W. Pillich currently resides in New York and is studying for his Master of Science in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University.
