Managing multi million pound revenue generating change compliance Programme to refresh/migrate the enterprise architecture and applications for the IMR (Insurers' Market Document Repository) in the London Insurance Market. Circa 35M files.
·Leading programme and project/solution planning, relationship and supplier/customer management, scope and financial control whilst adhering to the governance controls and rules.
·Matrix managing a disparate-international programme team (>20 people)
·Coaching onshore/offshore Project Managers in delivery and standards.
·Managing communication with internal and external stakeholders.
·Taking ownership on operational, technical and project issue/risk resolution.
Co-leading the Project & Progamme Management Practice Group developing and embedding process improvements.
ØInherited a Programme with circa £1M overspend due to scope creep and key staff turnover & within 6 months turned the Programme around to be in credit.
ØInfluenced a request for change to deliver a new capability that will save the organisation £84k per annum in support costs.
ØDefined and shaped the projects dossier, blueprint and business case.
ØActed as the day-to-day hands on agent on behalf of the Sponsor to ensure the successful planning, control and delivery of the 2013 project capabilities.
ØSuccessfully implemented/delivered key projects: Pega PRPC software upgrade, the upgrade and migration of Oracle databases, an IBM storage area network (SAN) replacement, and integration a new strategic application server platform.
