Mission: Senior Infrastructure Project Lead Consultant reporting into EMEA IT Director & VP driving  a Technology Integration Programme for a recent Acquisition with 52 Offices/Warehouses and 1850 employees across EMEA.

Responsibilities/Skills in use:

  • Championed from definition, design, cutover to handover for more than 37 EMEA Office Build-out Integrations  for circa 900 employees  in 10 months whilst maintaining Operational SLAs. 
  • Handcrafted & released into production a newly developed end user desktop management product utilising SCCM for client device imaging, profile management and software delivery. 
    • Designed for "user experience, and planed to scale for 2k devices".
  • Authored and rolled out a EMEA/AsiaPac wide Infrastructure Integration Framework to systemise Branch/Warehouse Buildouts.
  • Data Center Lift & Shift: In a period of 3 weeks I was parachuted in to a site and turned around the migration of an entire CRM Environment (23 Servers + External Connections) from escalation to success.

Global SPOC lead for a Portfolio of Global Expansion Projects encompassing 6 M&A Post Merger Integrations, 2 New Workplace Fit outs and 2 Manufacturing Fulfilment Plant start-ups.

  • Technically integrated and operationally enabled 4 distinct New BUs across EU in 100 days per site.
  • Engineered and influenced a new VP approved "M&A Integration Framework" giving scope/approach clarity and automating several manual processes.
  • Acted as the department spokesperson for "all-things M&A" and created a M&A Integration “Task Force” proposal winning Executive approval for inception.
    • Acted as IT M&A Integration Technical lead overseeing the initial IT integration planning and execution from beginning to end.
  • Enabled collaboration across 6 decentralised European BUs by deploying MS Office365 in 7 months saving $200k in software licensing costs for 1 BU.
  • Instituted a trans-disciplinary “Focus Group” that monkey wrenched the ERP-SAP/HCM Onboarding process for BUs into a leaner, transparent procedure reducing the provisioning and disablement effort.

Owned and managed a Global Meeting Room Technical Transformation Programme, £4M Budget over 1 year  for 10 Global offices.

  • Championed the IT Workplace Buildout for a new Flagship HQ office/studio with 400 employees over 5 months using unproven technology and newly tendered vendors.
  • Introduced a new Global Telecom Internet Service aggregator and reduced TCO by 20% with on-time delivery.
    • Led the MSA/Taxonomy negotiation process.
  • Rolled out and embedded a new Audio Visual/Video-Tele Conference solution across 4 sites in 1 month.
  • Connected and stood-up a Californian startup office with newly sourced Telecom suppliers and vendor.

CSC - Xchanging, Business Processing & Technology for London Insurance Market (7k employees)

Mission: Senior Manager in the Business and IT Change Department reporting into IT Business Change Director and Senior Responsible Product Owners.

  • Responsible for a revenue generating 5-year IT change compliance Programme (£20M budget – turnover £65M) to deliver a complete ECM/ERP platform refresh servicing IMR (London´s Insurers´Market Repository) consisting of ~37M documents, 8k users´p/month and growing. 


  • Inherited a Programme in year 1 of 5 with circa  £1M overspend due to scope creep and key staff turnover. Within 6 months turned the Programme budget around to be in credit.
  • Developed and shaped the 3-year projects dossier roadmap, blueprint and business case.
  • Led the Pega PRPC Upgrade (£2.5M over 1 year) with on-offshore teams to keep in vendor support. Matrix managed a global disparate team of ~20 functional leads and comparable offshore Developers.
  • Kept the IMR service in SLA/vendor support whilst upgrading infrastructure and simplifying front-back end systems with strategic solutions.

  • Outsourced the MS Exchange 2003 mail infrastructure to a fully Managed external MS Exchange 2010 Service with an appraised vendor and private cloud design reducing operational overhead.
  • Conceptualised and implemented a Mobile Device Management (BYOD) system and policy for Senior Management. Enabled Execs to swap their Blackberries for Android/iOS devices improving user experience and mobility.
  • Helped negotiate the swap of Telecom suppliers incorporating a pan-European service and cost savings of 11k€ over 2 years  for wireless tariffs.
