Senior Corporate Manager responsible for the protection of company assets, ranging from fraud and theft detection and investigations, monetary and merchandise recoveries, law enforcement and court liaison, training and development as well as oversight of all security auditing and inventory. Developed and implemented the Loss Prevention Fraud Training Course, now required for all new hires in the support staff and cashier departments.
Designed and implemented all Loss Prevention department audit and report forms, currently in use by the company. Corporate law enforcement liaison for various agencies in South Florida for investigation follow up, special detail coordination at the retail locations and holiday detail coverage.
- Developed and implemented the Loss Prevention Greeter program at all retail locations, used for deterring theft by customers, by merchandise and invoice verification. The first month in operation yielded over $8,000.00 in merchandise recoveries in just 3 locations in 1996.
- Led the development, implementation and enforcement of most security policies and procedures currently in use by the company.
- Project leader for the delivery and implementation of the police tactical towers at the North Miami and South Dade County Statistics showed a drop of over 95% in vehicle burglaries during the first year in service, as was provided by the local police departments covering those two locations.
- Customer Service focus programs for sales associates, centered on deterring theft in the retail environment by providing customer service and maintaining visual observations on the sales floor.
