Role :Senior Director Strategic Purchasing & Business Development of Philips General Purchasing in Eindhoven (NL) with reporting lines to Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) of Philips;

Member of Management Team and responsible for business strategy (including ICT and supply (chain) management).

Managing a team of purchasing and procurement staff (across the globe).

Involvement in activities with Business Consultancy (Professional Services/Business Process Outsourcing), Contract Manufacturing Services (CMS/EMS/OEM), Distributor businesses (High Tech/Semiconductors) and benchmarking activities (High Tech/Food/Retail etc.).

Achieved results:

·Driving standardization across NPR sourcing categories (Consultancy, temporary labour, ICT, Logistics etc.).

·Forwarding & Distribution strategy development (based on McKinsey- and IMD Models).
