  • Monitoring the execution of the strategic plan.

The role can further be divided into four archetypes:

  • Project Manager: focused almost exclusively on facilitating and coordinating the delivery of project outcomes.
  • System & Design Thinking Specialist: facilitates workshops, problem solving and training with teams, team members and/or stakeholders.
  • Coach: works to provide information to strategy creators and facilitates communication between teams, team members and stakeholders.
  • Change Agents: facilitate and enables effective organisational change thats aligned to business objectives.

Business and Innovation Analyst

Generate new local insights through a deep and integrated local understanding of:

  • Consumers: define & implement the yearly strategic consumer understanding plan and define and track related budget;
  • Markets & competitors: provide an overview of strategic gaps/priorities for the business. Understand key local competitor strengths & weaknesses; and
  • Trends: spot & articulate key local established consumer trends, as well as spot new emerging trends.

Facilitate innovation process:

  • To work with the business identifying innovation areas and how to address them to realise maximum benefits;
  • Specifically to focus on supporting key innovation opportunities the Client has identified and then to work these up with the business to assess benefits, Drive insight generation, summarising all consumer and market observations and turning them into consumer insights.
  • Facilitate new idea generation for innovation projects, turning insights into new innovation platforms with the local R&I teams; and 
  • Conduct research at each stage of the innovation process. Innovate and adapt research methods.

Business Process Innovation:

  • Create, control and improve end-to-end business processes;
  • Lead process design and project implementation teams in process improvement activities;
  • Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools;
  • Present findings to LTS IT Executive Team to determine gaps and strategies to improve performance or eliminate bottle-necks;
  • Support the delivery of innovation to maximise business benefits from an innovation perspective; and
  • Identify innovation risks and opportunities on key projects and support the business in addressing these.
