Statement of Interest

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." This Chinese proverb is my philosophy for being an educator. I believe that all children have the ability to learn and that they deserve to learn from highly qualified, highly educated individuals. I believe that all children can learn, just not at the same time or in the same way, and as an educator, it is up to me to seek out the best means and methods to engage all students in the educational and learning processes. As an educator, I seek to teach my students how to fish so that they can feed themselves for a lifetime, whether they seek to continue their educational endeavors or pursue career success.
