I find I like being challenged by life and strive to constantly learn of the world around me.  I feel my interests reflect that.  I enjoy:

  • Travel -  By the time I was thirty I had been for five of the seven continents.  Travel is a life altering event that can completely change your perspective on the world. 
  • Liteature - I am a vigorous reader, enjoying a wide variety of material from news blogs to classic books on a regular basis.
  • Music -  Prior to my career in the radio industry, I was an avid listener of music, enjoying many styles including classical, punk, ska, jazz, country, indie rock, afro-pop and more.  I have collected nearly 4,000 albums total.
  • Film - An early passion of mine, I have enjoyed movies since I can remember.  I enjoy sci-fi, espionage, and classic films the most. 
  • Food - I am a great supporter of the recent trend in good quality fresh food from a local source.  I have developed a joy for cooking.  When I eat out, I prefer a local eatery of a chain any day.
