During my time with Kings Island I have been consistently promoted and am now at the highest level that I can achieve while being part-time. I am now a Department Supervisor in the Food and Beverage Department. On a day to day basis I am in charge of seven stands; four out of the seven stands make above a million dollars a year with one stand over two-million. I also control labor costs, costs of sales and try to increase per capita. I am in charge of up to 100 associates a day and also help with promoting, demoting, hiring and firing of employees and assist in incentives. While going to school I would drive home from Muskingum University on the weekends to work at Kings Island and still be an active part in the day to day operations. Kings Island has taught me a lot about managing and how to run a major business. My time at Kings Island has taught me a great deal and will be a great asset to me when starting out in any business.
