Developmental Disability Manager
I managed the Innovations program which consisted of seventeen DD Trainers (para-professionals and one QP) and twenty-three clients. The Innovations program provided both individual and group day support services in an integrated Community Rehabilitation Program/work setting. My responsibilities included the daily supervision of the Innovations program as well as the monthly supervision with para-professional staff, completing core competencies and conducting monthly staff meetings.
Responsibilities also included writing goal plans for each client, completing quarterly summary reports as well as all other necessary paperwork according to HVO policy and State Regulations. I scheduled the staff as well as each clients day to include pre-vocational tasks, compensatory education classes, community integration, volunteer opportunities and crisis intervention as deemed necessary.
I worked closely with two MCO's to ensure that authorized services are being provided according to current guidelines as well as attend various training opportunities and provider network meetings. I was responsible for ensuring the authorized units are submitted correctly to our billing department on a monthly basis.
