Conducted extensive research and formulated recommendations for City leadership to assist them in creating a new policy with the goal of advancing equity in the city.


Student Tutor/Mentor - Washington D.C.

DC Reads

Assist first generation students in the urban D.C. area in improving academic achievement by meeting with them on a regular basis to clarify learning problems and work on study skills pertaining to both English and Spanish coursework. 


Canvasser - Washington D.C.

Grassroots Campaigns

To gather data, solicit donations, and distribute information pertaining to Planned Parenthood. 


Clerical Assistant - Somerville, MA

Somerville City Hall - Auditing  and Elections Department

Maintained an organized office environment: filing, labeling, etc. Followed instruction necessary to achieve set goals while working independently. Worked on several projects pertaining to the city's budget and grant system. Responsible for accepting and processing new voter registrations and census paperwork.
