Kaushal Vaidya, MD, is a professional consultant, educator, lecturer, medical writer, and physician who has been a key collaborator in the medical field for more than 10 years. Dr. Vaidya has helped hospitals develop pain-management protocols, presented numerous programs for professional audiences, and taught a monthly series for seniors on how to access Medicare. Dr. Vaidya’s education didn’t stop after earning his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1997. He added a Master of Business in Health Care Management from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2009. At Temple’s Fox School of Business and Management, Dr. Vaidya was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship, and he scored 700 on the GMAT exam. He earned his MD the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Kaushal Vaidya, MD, went on to work as a resident physician at the JFK-Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, New Jersey, from 1999 to 2002. While there he scored in the 93rd percentile in the National Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation boards and presented two abstracts at a national conference. In 2003, Dr. Vaidya obtained his medical fellowship in Pain Management at New York Medical College. His responsibilities included educating resident physicians in addition to treating patients. From 2003 to 2004, he moved on to Universal Medical, P.C., where he served as an attending physician and managed a multidisciplinary treatment team. Over the next several years, Dr. Vaidya transitioned into a medical information consultant, working as a business adviser and providing product information to physicians. He also conducted market research, developed business plans and marketing strategies, and evaluated new medical technology. Currently, Dr. Vaidya works at Hudson Medical Communication in Tarrytown, New York, as a medical writer.
