These bulletin boards were created to highlight various diets within the inpatient setting. They were completed to help hospital kitchen staff learn about specific diets and why the components of them are important to patients.

During the Renal Clinical Rotation, this holiday themed patient education piece was developed to help dialysis patients recognize and identify certain aspects of the dialysis diet and how they can improve their nutritional intake.
During my time in Rush's outpatient BMT clinic, there was a need to relay to patients the nutrition services offered. This three-fold pamphlet was developed and set in exam rooms to let patients know of the medical nutrition therapy services that were offered.
The Celiac and Food Sensitivity Clinic is a relatively new clinic at Rush University. This handout was compiled to relay information to the public about its features and services offered.
Interns were asked to identify a process that needed improvement. We then implemented a new policy/procedure to communicate to staff the new procedures.
Interns were assigned a specific ingredient that was to be incorporated into a salad that could be made to sell. The development of this menu item was to be culturally diverse and featured in the cafeteria.
