Project Management

I have a certificate in project management from Hounslow CVS. I manage around 10 projects at one time; I run four projects a week, I will be planning ahead for the upcoming projects and I will be seeking new partnerships to create new projects.   I manage a project from initiation to completion, including entering details onto a company database, sourcing funding, setting aims and ojbectives, determining staffing and resources with partners, carrying out risk management, planning for monitoring and evaluation and reporting.

I lead a weekly community group, which involves creating a vision, delegating tasks to the right people, chairing meetings, motivating the members and creating project plans to put on events and programmes.

I take a keen interest in culture and get much inspiration from travelling to other countries. I enjoy visiting and participating in cultural festivals and events such as ‘The Thames Festival’ and visiting galleries and exhibitions to get ideas and keep my knowledge current and up to date. I am a painter and I exhibit in London with the Free Painters Group. I really appreciate works of art that enable people to engage with it and create a dialogue.

I sing monthly in a music group and I play the saxophone and guitar. I regularly volunteer as a youth-leader for summer camps. I enjoy reading, walking and going to concerts, theatre performances and comedy venues. I have a car and a clean driving licence. I am an optimistic person and like to bring the best out of people and I contribute to a fun and lively office atmosphere.
