I am currently a junior at ETSU. I was accepted into the College of Nursing and am working to get my RN licence. I'm a member of the Student Nursing Association and am currently in clinicals at Holston Valley Hospital. My career goal is to eventually become a Family Nurse Practitioner and to stay and serve in the East Tennessee area.

Interests

In high school I was actively involved in outside organizations, especially 4-H and Girl Scouts. I was a senior Girl Scout and received the Gold Award, which is the Girl Scout equivalent to a Boy Scout's Eagle. I still help out with both Girl and Boy Scouting in the area. I have volunteered and worked at the Johnson City Public Library and the Ronald McDonald House, along with numerous service projects over the years. I attend church regularly and plan on going on a medical mission trip after graduating college.

My interests and hobbies include reading, traveling, scrapbooking, cooking, the outdoors, interior design, and especially nursing and the medical field. I babysit and petsit in my spare time for extra income.
