YMCA Mississauga Employment Centre

Mississauga YMCA Employment Resource Centreis wide array of resources and equipment. Their highly skilled staff will help you use our Internet-connected computers, fax machines, photocopiers, videos, and printed materials. They also offer free workshops that will help you kick-start your job search.

In addition to the resource centre, they offer the following programs to help you get a job.

Program Objective

The Humber Brampton Employment Counselling Centre (HBECC) is a centre that provides employment counseling services to unemployed clients who have complex issues or employment barriers that are preventing their integration into the labour market.  Through a collaborative counselling process, clients will be helped to identify needs and develop action plans that will ultimately lead to employment.

Job Connect is a free employment service to help job searchers who are out of school and work find full time employment. The program is funded by the Government of Ontario.

The Summer Job Service is delivered by Sheridan College and funded by the Government of Ontario. It is designed to help students get good summer jobs, and supply community businesses with access to these students.
