  • Design and teach courses for Charlotte's diverse artist-entrepreneurs in all disciplines
    • Guide arts-related small businesses from inception to startup through feasibility studies and other standard analytical tools 
    • Focus on arts-specific marketing issues
    • Facilitate knowledge sharing and support between students
    • Encourage continued learning and networking beyond the classroom
    • Tailor courses to artists' unique sensibilities
  • Collaborate with the CPCC Small Business Center Director, Program Developers, and staff in marketing, funding, and recruitment efforts
  • Build relationships between the CPCC Small Business Center and Charlotte's artists by guiding the development of appealing offerings and directing student to SBC resources as needed 
  • Secured $1,500.00 in scholarship funding from the Arts & Science Council of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County
  • First arts entrepreneurship course offering at CPCC
