Created reservations for many different lodging types, checked guests in, provided orientation to new guests, took payment, cleaned rooms, organized laundry room, assigned volunteers, took orders and served guests food and beverages from the lodge cafe.
Served local and organic food and beverages to guests in a fast-paced, lively environment. Learnedpreparation and ingredient details for a nightly changing menu, and kept abreast of changes to therestaurant's eclectic wine list. Lead group hikes with focus on the botany, history, and local environment of Denali National Park. Gavepresentations on natural and cultural history to groups of up to 60 individuals. Drove 15 passenger vans totrailheads where guests were educated on safety, park mission, and Leave No Trace ideology beforecommencing hikes of length varying from two to eight miles.
Served locally sourced food and beverages to guests in a fine-dining atmosphere. Answered phone calls, made reservations and greeted and seated guests while maintaining an organized seating chart for a restaurant with up to 120 seats.
