I am an experienced retail cashier with 11 years of customer service and cash handling skills. In addition to this, I have also received a well-rounded education from various institutions, with studies focusing on science, English, and mathematics primarily. In hopes of pursuing my dream of becoming a web writer, I would like to utilize my skills and knowledge in a growing field.

Responsible for providing the best experience for my customers by ringing up items in a timely and friendly manner. I work in a team oriented environment where the customer is the number one focus. We establish friendly relationships with customers so as to keep them coming back. Other tasks that I am currently/have been responsible for include stocking store shelves, inventory, POS, answering phone calls, and freight work.

Here I was part of an office team where the main focus was data entry. I was responsible for collecting payment from various companies for tractor, trailer, and truck repair and then invoicing the bills into files. Tasks included answering phone calls, dispatching technicians to repair sites, collecting various forms of payment from companies over the phone, through email, and in person, filing and basic office work.

Have successfully completed all relevant course work included in the California State University transfer pattern, while focusing on pre-nursing and pre-business studies. Also successfully completed courses including Statistics, Critical Thinking and Advanced Writing, Library Research Concepts, Anatomy and Physiology, Business Law, Business Management, and Psychology.

Began coursework while enrolled in the Business Administration program. Completed courses such as Operations Management, Marketing, Financial Accounting, International Business and Professional Ethics.


Associate's in Clinical and Administrative Medical Assisting

Enrolled in a hands-on Clinical and Administrative Medical Assisting program with courses including CPR training, phlebotomy, EKG training, as well as Algebra, English, and Anatomy and Physiology.
