MFT Trainee

Family Assessment, Counseling, and Educational Services (FACES)

As an MFT Trainee, I was responsible for doing intakes, providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.  Additionally, I provided therapy to couples, families, co-parents, and reunifications between non-custodial parents and child/children.  I facilitated a parenting group.  I also have experience in client advocacy and report writing.

Court Appointed Special Advocate Volunteer

CASA

Be a mentor to a child in dependency court.  I spent time with the child, assessed any needs, attended wraparound meetings, IEP's, and court.  With every court date, I submitted a summary report of our visits and made recommendations to the courts based on the child's needs.

Hospice Volunteer

Pacific Care Hospice

To provide emotional support to the hospice clients and their families as the client transitioned from this life.  I was responsible for making summary notes and assessing any needs of the family.
