Autobiography

Hello! Welcome to my green resume!

My name is Katherine DeSantis. I am a recent graduate of UMASS Amherst with a Bachelors degree in Resource Economics (with a managerial concentration). Over the years, I supplemented my academic classes with professional experience that has enhanced my understanding of and experience with community building and outreach, economic development, networking and marketing efforts.

By working with organizations such as the Marlborough Conservation Commission, The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce and Envox Worldwide I have been exposed to a wide range of professional environments and protocols. All of these wonderful experiences offered me a well-rounded perspective of the "working world" as well as a thirst for learning and experiencing more. I am excited to be at the launching point of my professional career where I can dive head first into the job I am hired for and potentially grow with this company in the future.

Intent

I would very much like to take an active, professional role within a company.  I have accumulated a strong set of practical business skills that provide me with the foundation to successfully take on a wide range of tasks. I am a dedicated worker hoping to find a place to apply those skills, and am eager to learn more about how I can contribute to your company.

I am exceptionally organized, well versed in the Microsoft Suite and able to work efficiently within a collaborative group or independently. I am confident in my ability to learn quickly and prioritize tasks. I am open to exploring how I may be able to fulfill any needs your company might have now or in the future.

I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you, thank you for your time and consideration.
