During the internship at Bosch I was able to identify some of my strengths and weaknesses.

  • Lack of confidence when dealing with high level management
  • Learn to step outside my comfort zone
  • Challenging organisational guidelines

 

The strengths I have developed during my internship will help me in the work environment. My organisational and time management skills allow me to perform under pressure and produce the required outcome on time. My attention to detail and creative thinking abilities allow me to produce satisfactory work in a marketing environment. I will also be able to generate new skills and solve problem through my self-instructed learning.

In future I will push myself to become more confident when I am dealing with more experienced people. I will try to focus on learning from their feedback rather then being afraid of being judged for my opinion or work. I will try to step outside my comfort zone to learn more and become more confident. I will start to see organisational guidelines as an experience I can learn from rather than an obstacle.

During my time at Bosch I was able to work on a variety of different projects. These have all helped me to gain marketing communication skills and get experience in other areas as well. B2B marketing group project
Task
Develop a feasible 12 month marketing plan for Kaeser Australia (international manufacturing company)

Result
We worked collaboratively in a team and presented our plan to a management panel from Kaeser. Our team was awarded the top grade and received a letter of recommendation from the Managing Director.

Global marketing product launch
Task
Design a plan for the launch of an Australian product in a foreign market

Result
Our group designed a plan to launch Little Creatures in Brazil. We researched the Brazilian market and chose to launch three labels, which we felt suited the culture. We aimed to leverage a world event, the World Cup, to promote the product. We received really positive feedback for our creativity and understanding of the market and achieved 79% for this project.
