I am proactive and experienced banking & financial services professional, with international cross- cultural experience of leading business and technology teams to effectively manage business as usual and also to implement transformational change, in diverse functional areas across several industry leading muti-national organisations.

I have worked across several areas within banking and financial services including operations, technology, change, strategy and programme management both as part of the internal team and as a management consultant which has given me a detailed insight into the end to end working of a consumer bank across multiple product and functional areas.

I believe this insight allows me to help organisations take on and achieve aggressive goals either through the delivery of new initiatives or by addressing existing issues .I have helped organisations define the appropriate strategic goals and then mobilise and motivate diverse teams to deliver against this strategy in both a line management or a change focussed role.


Summary of key skills and some examples of deliverables
I have a track record of successfully managing my teams to deliver organisational objectives both in senior line roles [global team of 40 direct reports and multiple vendor relationships] and programme roles [budgets in excess of £75 million and teams of 800 people including direct, vendor and indirect reports].   My roles to date included the areas of operations, technology, change and strategy & planning. Some deliverables in these areas are outlined below:   Ø  Banking operating model design and implementation [designed and delivered a new operational model  for a 6 million customer business (delivered through an outsourced process) –which is still in use five years later] Ø  Change management [Responsible for delivery of change across organisation that delivered  improved productivity and customer satisfaction which led to the bank more than doubling its asset portfolio in under 18 months] Ø  Delivery of large scale and complex change programmes. [Responsible for post merger integration of  two retail banks with combined asset size of US$ 1.2 billion that allowed the bank to operate off a common set of processes and technology within 15 months and consolidate its market position] Ø  Change and Technology process delivery assurance  [Conversant with CMMI, Prince2, PMP and consulting delivery methods] Ø  Strategy and business consulting across financial services [Both as an internal and external consultant] Ø  Business process reengineering [Re-engineered the Cash and Liquidity management process for a leading European bank and delivered the blueprint for a revised operating model in order to facilitate centralisation] Ø  Banking technology solution conceptualisation, design & delivery [Responsible for designing and implementing satellite solutions for areas across retail bank to allow for cost savings and productivity increase of an average of 10 – 15% across the business areas.] Ø  Responsible for technology and change for region and / or  product  [Responsible for cards technology for a key region for a Global bank] Ø  Management large teams of business, technical and third party members [Managed worldwide teams to deliver high pressure projects with tight time or budget constraints] Ø  Organisational transformation to meet regulatory requirements [Delivered an 18 month programme to transform largest sub prime mortgage lender in the UK from a process agnostic organisation to one with highest level of regulatory certification for control]
