A $50M asset management firm with 10 locations in PA, NJ, NY and OH. This was a short-term project management assignment to develop an HR foundation with a focus on organizational development and performance management. Projects completed were:

• Partnered with managers to set individual and quantifiable expectations and goals for positions as well as individual succession planning. • Addressed performance management by ensuring that individual objectives were linked to position requirements. Conducted interviews with managers and staff to complete accurate and compliant job analyses, job descriptions and FLSA position classification assignment.• Introduced performance review procedures, reviewed compensation history for each position level, then integrated position's goals with individual performance. • Standardized recruiting methods and consistent offer process to candidates, created a formal onboarding process for new hires.

Accomplishments: SAP implementation and employee training on SAP T&E, OM. Achieved a high level of effectiveness in organizational development, employee relations and communication, benefits and compensation, retention programs, training, succession planning and payroll management.

• Managed a $595K department budget. • Developed a new performance review process and introduced it using The Ken Blanchard Companies Situational Leadership® II Model. • Succession planning: Worked with managers to identify and develop high potential employees for succession and/or assumption of other higher-level responsibilities. • Organizational development: Partnered with senior and mid-level managers to develop HR strategies that were aligned with the organization's priorities. Conducted employee surveys for change management initiatives. Analyzed and communicated results, with applicable changes, to senior management and organization. • Benefits and compensation: Administered group insurance, COBRA, Open Enrollment meetings, workers' compensation plans, 401(k) plan, FMLA management, developed and conducted new hire orientations and open enrollment meetings in main office as well as field locations, successfully restructured compensation program for sales staff.• Employee relations: Provided consulting expertise to staff and management including EEO law and policies/practices. Investigate EEO complaints; make recommendations and implement solutions based on issues investigation process.• Recruiting: Key role in selection, written employment offer and pre-employment drug screening process. Developed an onboarding process for new hires.• Created new performance appraisal program using feedback from managers and employees.• Training and Development: Developed a procedures manual for managers that included procedures on progressive discipline, interviewing and recruiting and other general supervisory basic tools.
