Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the total setup of the transmission system for the external work, transmission of the news stories (lives, feeds) and master control operations involving ,installation, configuration, repair, maintenance, and support of broadcast transmitters, and media production equipment..
- Monitored technical standards and quality of remotely-used equipment.
- Analyze and rectify technical faults on systems and equipment.
- Operated various broadcasting equipment in studio and on location.
- To provide high level engineering support to all Broadcast Services equipment to ensure the highest possible levels of technical and operational continuity to the EUTELSAT Network.
- Supervise projects to ensure their completion, on time and to the highest standards, as set by the Engineering Management.
- Develop both Junior and Broadcast Engineers through continual training and support.
- Operating a lot of equipment used in the broadcasting system: Encoders, HPA, Up converters, Beacon Receivers,Antenna control units,Dish Antennas,Spectrum Analyzers,HPA’s Controllers, Mixers,BetaCam players ,DVCam players,Switches,Cameras, Lighting Systems , etc……....
- Skilled in designing, repairing, maintaining and installing technical broadcast systems
- Possess excellent communication, supervisory, and problem solving skills.
- Marine Satellite tracking, A/V and automation systems
- Participated in all aspects of video post-production.
