Career Goals

Over the next two to five years my professional goals in the field of nutrition will be focused on wellness, prevention and Nutrigenomics, the newest, cutting edge field in nutrition. Incorporating Nutrigenomics into private practice will help me to provide clients with a unique and individualized approach to optimize health and wellness.

Prevention and wellness are the wave of the future with nutrition being the cornerstone of both. Corporate America is becoming increasingly aware of the benefits gained by having healthy employees. In keeping with this trend, my goals include providing corporate wellness seminars and lectures.

Giving back to the community is important to me. I plan to continue volunteering at local homeless shelters, educating the homeless about the importance of good nutrition and how to eat healthy on a limited budget.

Additionally, I plan to continue teaching as a college professor. Enriching the lives of others through sharing knowledge is important.

A part of my future plans include authoring books and iPhone apps on various nutrition topics, highlighting the many benefits to be gained through healthy eating and lifestyle choices.

The field of nutrition offers many exciting opportunities. There are many different area of nutrition that I am looking forward to exploring.
