  • Co-Coordinator Rising Leaders Academy: Civic Engagement & Leadership Training. Program development. Establishing Community Partners and coordinating projects. Recruiting and training students. Providing oversight and advisement of 15 students and their projects. Developing and facilitating weekly Leadership Skills Workshops, collaborating with Career Services, Financial Aid, Student Life.Supported by Federal Work Study and modeled after the Bonner Scholars a developmental leadership program.
  • College Admissions: High School Recruitment visits, Group presentations and individual interviews, transcript review, and acceptance recommendations. ¬†Assisting students with enrollment documentation completion for first year and summer preparation program.
  • Financial Aid Counseling: Educate students on financial aid application process and assist with problem resolution for federal and state grants (FAFSA, HESAA TAG, and EOF grants).
  • Member, Brookdale Community College Financial Aid Appeals Committee.
  • Event Management and Co-curricular Programming: Research and hire speakers and workshop facilitators for Leadership Development, Career Development, Life Management Skills, Health and Wellness, Transfer Services, and Diversity Awareness. Implement all conference logistics planning.
  • Design and facilitate workshops and panel discussions on Students Leading Students, Community Service Leadership, Career Development, and Diversity.
  • Mentoring Graduate Student Interns, ensuring that the Intern has access to a meaningful variety of experiences and training opportunities in accordance with her/his graduate studies requirements and professional interests.
