  • Symbian was a UK based software licensing company that provided Symbian OS, the market-leading open operating system for mobile phones. It was acquired by Nokia group in February 2009.

  • Generated over $10 million in royalty and professional services in 2008 from Samsung and LG accounts to overachieve personal target by 20%.

  • Secured total of over 25 design-wins with key customers, exceeding personal target 4 out of the 5 years.

  • Negotiated contracts protecting Symbian’s interests while addressing customers’ needs.

  • Improved the customer relationships from a ‘black box’ to executive relationships including CEO meetings, achieving excellent account penetration.

  • Established Symbian Korea as a profitable registered office by taking charges of sales, partner management, and office management including staff hiring, office leasing, and branch registration.

  • Responsible for strategic account planning, leading a cross-functional account team of over 30 people from 10 depts. in UK, China, USA, India and Korea.

  • In charge of the Korean licensees’ migration to the Symbian Foundation.
