Originally I was hired to organize and maintain a educational software lending library that was part of a grant project (The Instructional Resource Center at the University of Central Florida) housed in the College of Education. As I continued with the project responsibilities were added - workshop instructor; organizing, proofing, preparing materials submitted for the conference (FETC) CD and other CDs that the project produced; website layout and graphics: print materials layout and graphics: creating and maintaining FileMaker databases, making some of those databases accessible through our website; working with the Florida DOE on various project (software catalog database, Sunshine State Standards database, layout and design of print and online materials ( SUNLINK was a sister project, as was FOR-PD (Florida Online Reading - Professional Development). My time was divided among all three, however when the ITRC lost its funding, I began working full time for SUNLINK and remained with the project until May of 2008.



Web Design
Have gone through training in DreamWeaver, Flash, Photoshop. Have been designing websites at a very basic level for 10 plus years and am currently attending classes in web programming in order to update and improve skills. Desktop Publishing
Received training in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Have been using all to design flyers, invitations, conference programs, end of year reports, performance programs, posters. Was coeditor of the Florida Media Quarterly for 3 years and was responsible for the layout and graphics.
